M1 TimePilot vs Wurxa

Two cloud homes for your ZKTeco terminals. An honest comparison.

The short answer

M1 TimePilot and Wurxa are both cloud attendance software for UAE businesses that connect the ZKTeco terminals already on the wall over the ADMS push protocol, with no server on site, and both turn attendance into WPS payroll. M1 TimePilot publishes lower prices for larger teams (from AED 588 a year for up to 100 employees), a longer 7-day trial and an Arabic interface. Wurxa has a permanent Free plan for up to 5 employees, sites in several countries on their own time zone, and typing-centre, asset and AI products on the same workspace; paid plans start at AED 1,188 a year plus VAT. Facts checked on 3 October 2026.

Questions

M1 TimePilot and Wurxa: common questions

Is Wurxa an alternative to M1 TimePilot?

Yes. Both are cloud attendance software for the UAE that receive punches from ZKTeco terminals over ADMS push, with no server on site, and both produce WPS payroll files. They differ on price, language, clock-in methods and what else runs on the same workspace; the table on this page sets those out, including where M1 is ahead.

Which is cheaper, M1 TimePilot or Wurxa?

For teams above 5 people, M1 TimePilot's published prices are lower: AED 588 a year for up to 100 employees, checked on 3 October 2026, and its page does not say whether VAT is included. Wurxa is free for up to 5 employees on one site, then AED 1,188 a year plus VAT for up to 30, AED 4,999 for up to 200 and AED 12,000 for up to 500. Wurxa's payroll and WPS add-on is AED 2,400 a year plus VAT.

Can I move my ZKTeco terminals from M1 TimePilot to Wurxa?

If the terminal supports ADMS push, yes. A ZKTeco terminal sends to one cloud server address, so switching means changing that address from M1's to Wurxa's and claiming the terminal by serial number in Wurxa. Fingerprints and faces stay on the terminal. You can pull its user list and the punch history it still holds, and keep your M1 records for older months.

Does Wurxa have an Arabic interface like M1 TimePilot?

No. Wurxa's interface is in English. Letters such as salary certificates and NOCs can be issued in English, Arabic or both. If your team needs the software itself in Arabic, M1 TimePilot offers that.

Do both have a mobile app for staff without a terminal?

Wurxa's phone clock-in is live: each punch records a selfie and the location. Wurxa does not enforce a geofence. M1 TimePilot's homepage and pricing page list GPS check-in with a geofence and mobile face check-in, while its ZKTeco page still describes the mobile app as on the way, so ask M1 which is current.

How long is the free trial?

M1 TimePilot offers 7 days with no credit card. Wurxa offers 5 days with every feature and no credit card, and after that a workspace moves to the Free plan with its data intact rather than closing.
