Refund and cancellation policy
How trials, cancellations and refunds work for your Wurxa subscription.
Last updated: 25 June 2026
1. Try before you pay
Every new workspace can start on a 14-day, full-feature trial. No payment details are required to begin the trial, so you can evaluate Wurxa fully before any charge is made. If you do not upgrade, your workspace moves to the permanent Free tier; your data stays and nothing is charged.
2. Cancel any time
- You can cancel a paid subscription at any time from your workspace settings or by contacting us.
- When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for; it then stops renewing. We do not automatically refund the unused part of a current period.
- Cancelling stops future charges. Your data is retained and remains exportable in line with our Terms.
3. Refunds
Because you can trial the full product for free before paying, subscription fees are generally non-refundable except as set out below or where a refund is required by law. We review refund requests in good faith in these situations:
- Accidental or duplicate charges: refunded in full once verified.
- Technical failure on our side: if a defect we could not resolve within a reasonable time prevented you from using a paid plan.
- First charge, within 14 days: if you were charged for a new monthly or yearly subscription and contact us within 14 days of that charge, we will normally refund it as a goodwill gesture, provided the plan has not been substantially used (for example, generating WPS/SIF files or running payroll).
Refunds are not given for partially used periods after the windows above, for charges older than the applicable window, for a change of mind late in a yearly term, or for downgrades (a downgrade simply applies from your next billing cycle).
4. Yearly plans
Yearly plans are billed up front (as ten of twelve months) in exchange for the lower effective price, and are intended as an annual commitment. Outside the first-charge window in section 3, yearly fees are non-refundable; you may cancel at any time to prevent the next annual renewal.
5. Add-ons and PRO usage
Optional flat add-ons (such as the HR Suite or WPS / Payroll modules) follow the same rules as the plan they are attached to. For the Wurxa PRO line, the flat fee follows this policy, but per-case charges for cases already processed are non-refundable, as that work has been delivered.
6. How refunds are processed
Payments are taken, and approved refunds are issued, by Paddle as merchant of record. Refunds are returned to your original payment method in the currency charged (USD). Your bank or card network may take a few business days to show the credit. Paddle’s Buyer Terms also apply to your transaction.
7. How to request a refund
Email hello@wurxa.com from the address on your account, with your workspace name and the Paddle receipt or order number. We aim to respond within two business days. You can also request a refund directly from the receipt that Paddle emailed you.
8. Chargebacks
If a charge looks wrong, please contact us first; we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Raising a chargeback without contacting us may lead to your workspace being suspended pending resolution.
9. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer or refund rights you have under the laws that apply to you, including mandatory UAE consumer protections.
