It runs monthly payroll for UAE businesses: salary by component (basic, housing, transport and your own items) with history and effective dates, pro-rata for joiners and leavers, unpaid leave, overtime from real attendance, one-off bonus, commission, arrears and deductions, loans and salary advances, and end-of-service settlements. When the owner has approved the month and it is locked, Wurxa makes the WPS SIF file, PDF payslips and an Excel salary register.

Yes. Wurxa makes the SIF file in the layout used by UAE banks or the one used by exchange houses, whichever pays your staff. Before a month can be locked, a readiness check lists anyone missing an IBAN, a routing code or a MOHRE person ID, with a Fix link to each. You still upload the file to your bank or exchange house yourself, and we suggest checking your first file with them.

Yes, as a Beta. The owner or an IT admin connects Zoho Books once and maps an account to each pay item. After that, each locked month is sent to Zoho Books with one click, or automatically if you switch that on, as a draft manual journal, so your accountant reviews it and posts it. If you would rather not connect, download the month as a journal CSV and import it. The connection works with Zoho's data centres, including the UAE one.

Yes. Export your data to a spreadsheet, upload it, and match each column to a Wurxa field. A dry run then shows every change and every problem row, and nothing is saved until you confirm. Add your people to Wurxa first; the import matches rows to them rather than creating new employees. There is no direct connection to Zoho Payroll; the move is by file.

Overtime comes from the attendance Wurxa already records, from ZKTeco or Hikvision terminals or the phone app, and is paid at 125% or 150%. An unpaid leave day is deducted at basic plus allowances divided by 30. Someone who joins or leaves during the month is paid pro-rata for the days they were employed.

Wurxa works out the gratuity, pays out unused annual leave and deducts any loan balance, on one settlement. The owner finalises it, and the pay run for the month the person leaves pays it with their last salary. Gratuity follows Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021: 21 days' basic wage for each of the first five years and 30 days for each year after, nothing under one year of service, and no more than two years' wage in total. Yes. Each month's payslip is a PDF that staff open on their phone in the Wurxa app, with earnings, deductions and net pay laid out.

By default the owner approves the month before it is locked (an owner can switch this off in Payroll setup). A locked month is frozen, so the figures and the bank file stop changing. If something has to change, the owner reopens it with a reason, the reopening is recorded in the audit log, and the month is checked, approved and locked again.

Yes. Letters makes salary certificates, NOCs and employment letters as PDFs on your company letterhead, in English, from the details already on each employee's record, with an optional signatory, signature and stamp.

AED 2,400 a year + VAT as an add-on on the Starter, Business or Scale plan. It is not part of the Wurxa PRO plan for typing centres. The 14-day trial includes Payroll, with no card.

No. Wurxa prepares payroll and the SIF file; your bank or exchange house pays the salaries. Zoho Books (Beta) is the accounting connection available today. There is no public API and no QuickBooks, Xero or Tally connection; the Excel salary register and the journal CSV are the way to take figures elsewhere.
